Role Purpose:

Perform all activities and operations related to leasing and tenants and ensure that all activities, processes and procedures are aligned to the established strategy and standards

 

Leasing and Tenants Management Operations:

  • Implement DCT process and procedure of Leasing and Tenant Management.
  • Conduct commercial leasing, specialty leasing, F&B retail delivery, tenant management, Property management, Tawtheeq management.
  • Negotiate new lease agreements with landlords and property managers
  • Update lease contracts to reflect any changes made during the term of the lease.
  • Prepare lease agreements in collaboration with the Legal Affairs Department to ensure they are complete and accurate as per DCT Procedures.
  • Track, manage and coordinate payments for Landlord and Tenants in collaboration with the Finance Department.
  • Build a relationship with F&B players and retailers to increase revenue streams, handle Retail Delivery on F&B Concept, Tenant Relationship Management, Operation Management with F&B Retailers, curating innovative F&B Concept and recommendation F&B and Retail brands, ensure all the tenant comply with DCT Standards, i.e H&SE, HED norms
  • Review and approve reports regarding lease transactions for accounting purposes.
  • Collect and maintain up to date records of tenant’s monthly sales, provide senior management with feedback on Tenant sales performance and coordinate with Finance Department on this regards whenever is needed.
  • Collect, track and maintain accurate records of Tenant compliance documents and regulations of all local authorities and assets policy.

  • Carry out any other duties and responsibilities related to the role at the request of the direct manager
  • Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

Skills:

  • Language:  
    • Full professional English proficiency both in speaking and writing. 
    • Arabic bilingual desirable but not mandatory.  
  • Skilled in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word and Excel).
  • Knowledge and functional understanding of the tourism industry, regionally and globally.
  • High level of competency in relevant software applications.
  • Self-motivated with a proven ability to complete work in a timely manner.
  • Ability to quickly integrate with existing business software tools and knowledge of other relevant industry software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - including appropriate stakeholder alignment.
  • Evidence of creating, implementing, and managing policies and procedures.
  • Ability to multi-task and to prioritize work effectively.
  • Ability to work under own direction and high degree of initiative.
  • Knowledge in Leasing and Tenant management Databases and Tracking Systems.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Leasing and Tenant management techniques.
