Mentorship Programme
The Mentoring Programme is a long-term investment in the development of the Department’s employees that encourages knowledge sharing and transfer; to support and cultivate a culture of learning and career development within our organisation. Through ongoing support and feedback during mentoring exchanges, both Mentors and Protégé’s will gain invaluable skills and development of competencies that will enhance and better their work individually and within their teams.
A new, exciting version of mentoring is also being introduced!
Reverse Mentoring: A younger professional takes up a ‘professional advisory’ relationship with someone more senior, to exchange skills, knowledge and understanding. Reverse mentoring can play an important role in bridging the gap between the generations currently in the workforce as it is an enriching learning experience for both parties.
