Role Purpose:

Drive HR strategic initiatives, special projects, and spearhead transformative strategies within People & Performance Department aiming to enhance operational efficiency. Effectively analyze HR processes, identifying areas for enhancement, and implementing innovative solutions to improve efficiency, effectiveness while ensuring alignment of all projects with the defined strategic objectives and timelines.

 

Projects Management

  • Develop comprehensive HR projects plans (e.g., Rewards, Employee Experience, Talent Acquisition and others) including but not limited to scope, objectives, deliverables and resource requirements in line with the defined objectives.
  • Lead and manage HR special projects from initiative to completion ensuring adherence to project specifications, timeline, budgets, milestones, quality standards, and others.
  • Effectively monitor and track project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks and providing strategic recommendations to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Coordinate with support services cross-functional teams and stakeholders (e.g., Finance, HR, IT, SM) to ensure alignment on HR special and strategic projects and initiatives, defined timelines and objectives.
  • Develop and adjust action plans to enhance HR special and strategic projects based on findings and business needs, and manage roadmaps for initiatives, ensuring progress towards defined objectives.
  • Drive change initiatives within the HR function, ensuring smooth transitions and adoption of new processes or systems in line with the approved objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with HR regulations, policies, and internal controls throughout project implementations.
  • Provide support for ad-hoc requests from top management and project stakeholders.

HR Transformation

  • Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the current state of all HR processes.
  • Engage with the HR department and stakeholders to gather insights and feedback on existing processes, pain points, and challenges faced in day-to-day operations.
  • Benchmark current HR processes against industry best practices to identify opportunities for adopting more efficient and effective methodologies.
  • Develop and implement transformation strategies for process improvement, automation, and streamlining workflows to increase efficiency and accuracy across support services sector whilst tracking the ROI/impact.

HR Analysis and Reporting:

  • Conduct in-depth HR analysis and feasibility studies for business cases for special & strategic projects and initiatives assigned by top management.
  • Utilize HR analytics and metrics to derive insights, identify trends, and make informed decisions to improve HR performance and decision-making.
  • Prepare periodic detailed HR reports, presentations, and forecasts highlighting pain points and recommendations for enhancements in close collaboration with the HR department team.
  • Effectively develop and maintain dashboards and/or reports to track critical Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Analyze HR data and provide actionable insights, assess the viability of initiatives, and provide recommendations enabling strategic decision-making.

Shared Activity:

  • Ensure effective cascading of the functional strategy into business plans to ensure vertical alignment and horizontal integration with other interfacing sectional strategies.
  • Lead the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction.
  • Carry out any other duties and responsibilities related to the role at the request of the direct manager.
  • Manage and ensure effective implementation of functional policies, procedures and controls covering all areas of assigned section activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service.
  • Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
  • Demonstrate compliance to organization’s values and ethics at all times to support the establishment of a value drive culture within the organization
  • Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction.

Qualification:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or relevant. Master’s degree is highly preferred.
  • Certification such as PMP, SHRM-CP, HRMP, PHR or relevant are preferred.
  • Proven 3-5 years of extensive experience in HR, project management, or HR transformation roles or equivalent.
  • Experience in HR technology implementation and utilization of HRIS/HRMS systems.

Experience:

  • Strong in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word and Excel).
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, best practices, industry trends, and HR systems.
  • Strong project management methodologies, including the ability to manage and execute complex projects.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex HR data and generate actionable insights.
  • Detail oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and quality.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills and abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
