Design, architect, and govern enterprise infrastructure platforms that support both traditional and AI-enabled workloads. Lead the development of scalable, secure, resilient, and high-performance cloud and hybrid infrastructure architectures that enable Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Generative AI (GenAI), data analytics, and enterprise applications in alignment with DCT's technology strategy, architecture principles, and governance standards.
The role focuses on the infrastructure, cloud, platform, networking, security, compute, storage, and operational capabilities required to support AI adoption across the organization, while ensuring reliability, performance, cost optimization, and compliance.

Infrastructure Strategy and Architecture
- Develop and maintain enterprise infrastructure architectures that support current and future business and technology requirements, including AI and advanced analytics workloads.
- Define infrastructure standards, reference architectures, and technology roadmaps covering cloud, hybrid cloud, networking, storage, compute, container platforms, and AI infrastructure capabilities.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, Security, Data, and Digital teams to ensure infrastructure readiness for AI initiatives.
- Evaluate and recommend infrastructure technologies, cloud services, GPU-enabled environments, and platform services that support enterprise AI adoption.
- Ensure infrastructure architectures align with security, governance, operational, and regulatory requirements.
AI Infrastructure Enablement
- Design and govern infrastructure platforms supporting AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI, and data-intensive workloads.
- Architect GPU-enabled cloud and on-premises infrastructure to support model training, inference, and AI service deployment.
- Design scalable environments supporting Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning, AI Foundry, and related AI platforms.
- Define infrastructure requirements for Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, AI assistants, and intelligent automation solutions.
- Ensure AI workloads are deployed using enterprise-grade infrastructure, security, networking, and operational standards.
Cloud and Platform Architecture
- Lead the design and implementation of cloud-native AI infrastructure solutions considering scalability, availability, security, performance, and operational efficiency.
- Drive adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, containerization, and platform engineering best practices.
- Provide technical guidance on Kubernetes, Docker, cloud platforms, and AI infrastructure deployment models.
- Support the evolution of DevSecOps practices to enable automated infrastructure provisioning and operational excellence.
Infrastructure Management
- Define infrastructure sizing, resource allocation, performance optimization, and cost management strategies for enterprise and AI workloads.
- Collaborate with operational teams to ensure infrastructure reliability, resilience, and service continuity.
Security, Reliability, and Performance
- Design secure infrastructure architectures that support enterprise applications and AI workloads.
- Ensure appropriate controls are implemented for identity management, network security, data protection, encryption, and workload isolation.
- Define and implement high availability, disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity strategies.
- Monitor and assess AI infrastructure performance and identify opportunities for optimization and modernization.
- Support FinOps practices and cloud cost optimization initiatives across infrastructure and AI platforms.
Shared Activity
- Ensure effective cascading of the functional strategy into business plans to ensure vertical alignment and horizontal integration with other interfacing sectional strategies.
- Lead the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction.
- Carry out any other duties and responsibilities related to the role at the request of the direct manager.
- Manage and ensure effective implementation of functional policies, procedures and controls covering all areas of assigned section activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service.
- Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
- Demonstrate compliance to organization’s values and ethics at all times to support the establishment of a value drive culture within the organization
