Job Purpose:


Join our team as a Specialist in Finance Reporting, where you will play a key role in producing month-end management reports and various ad-hoc reports. You'll ensure that management reviews are efficient and aligned with DCT's business objectives, adhering to International Financial Standards and local regulations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Financial Reporting:

    • Assist in preparing periodic management reports on budget utilization and variances, and support investigations into these variances.
    • Contribute to Management Information System (MIS) reporting to aid decision-making and forecasting.
    • Provide accurate financial reports and analyses to internal and external stakeholders, collaborating with other finance teams for necessary data.
    • Participate in the timely preparation of ad-hoc financial reports and conduct monthly and quarterly financial analyses.
  • Reporting System and Process:

    • Help develop and implement effective financial management systems and reporting processes in line with accounting standards.
    • Support the enhancement of financial models and reporting tools for comprehensive analysis.
    • Contribute to the automation and improvement of financial reporting processes, implementing industry best practices.
  • Shared Activities:

    • Undertake additional responsibilities as directed by your manager.
    • Ensure compliance with departmental policies and standard operating procedures.
    • Uphold the organization’s values and ethics to foster a culture of integrity.
    • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in systems and processes.

 

Communication & Working Relationships:

 

  • Internal:
    • Collaborate with executive and senior management, finance department, and other internal teams.
  • External:
    • Liaise with regulators, external auditors, consultants, and financial institutions.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

 

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent.
    • Preferred professional accreditations: CA, ACCA, or CPA.
  • Experience:

    • 3 to 5 years in Finance & Accounting.
  • Skills:

    • Proficient in English and Arabic (both spoken and written).
    • Strong skills in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
    • Excellent attention to detail and administrative skills.
    • Self-motivated with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
    • Experience in business planning and program management related to finance and policy.
