Job Purpose
The Data & AI Business Partner (SM&C) acts as a strategic liaison between the Data & AI Department and the Strategic Marketing & Communications (SM&C) Sector. The role ensures the effective integration of data-driven insights, advanced analytics, and AI solutions to enhance marketing strategies, optimize communications effectiveness, and strengthen Abu Dhabi’s positioning as a global cultural and tourism hub. By understanding SM&C’s specific needs and translating them into actionable data and AI initiatives, the role drives innovation, campaign effectiveness, audience engagement, and evidence-based decision-making across all marketing and communications programs.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Partnership:
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the Data & AI Department and the SM&C Sector.
- Align SM&C priorities with enterprise-level data and AI strategies.
- Identify opportunities for leveraging data and AI to improve marketing reach, brand awareness, and communications impact.
Data & AI Enablement:
- Translate business requirements into AI and analytics solutions in collaboration with Data Science and Analytics teams.
- Support the design, development, and delivery of sector-specific dashboards, campaign performance models, and audience insights reports.
- Promote adherence to data governance, quality, and responsible AI practices across the SM&C Sector.
Advisory & Engagement:
- Provide strategic advice to SM&C leadership on applying AI and analytics to measure campaign ROI, audience segmentation, media performance, and sentiment analysis.
- Build strong partnerships with internal and external communications stakeholders to embed data-driven decision-making.
- Act as a change agent, fostering adoption of AI and analytics within marketing and communications functions.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
- Monitor and report on the performance of SM&C-specific data and AI initiatives.
- Ensure timely submission of strategic reports and KPIs in line with enterprise reporting systems (e.g., ADPM, ECAS, ADEO).
- Provide insights and recommendations to support proactive leadership decision-making.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (master’s degree preferred) in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Marketing Analytics, or a related field.
- 5 to 7 years’ relevant experience in data analytics, AI, or business partnering, ideally within government, marketing, communications, or media-related sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into effective data/AI solutions.
- Proven track record in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong project management experience with the ability to deliver impactful solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of AI/ML applications, analytics, and data governance.
- Experience in developing reports and dashboards to support strategic decision-making.
- Familiarity with marketing KPIs (campaign reach, ROI, engagement, sentiment) and international benchmarks is an advantage.
